Remembrance Day

The Trust organises a Remembrance Sunday Service (held on the Sunday closest to 11 November). It takes place at the War Memorial which is situated in the garden by the Carnegie Library. The service is conducted by local minister Jonanda Groenewald, for our community to remember the service and sacrifice of all of those who defended our freedom and protected our way of life.

Serviceman from our community lay a wreath and raise the flag in remembrance of those who died during past and current wars, while a local brass band plays on this poignant day.
